Why context is important

These critters look super-cute, right?

I lied: they're alive.

He's sleeping, too.

Then you find out they’re dead and–poof!–not as cute anymore, are they?

This will become more important at some later date but I just wanted to, once again, illustrate how all-important context is (and how easily emotions can be manipulated) when there isn’t sufficient information or when someone intentionally leaves something out that you are unable to verify, firsthand. (Like the fact that they’re actually sleeping.)
