Tantum Pauci Centuries Quoque Tardus?

Narro quis??

I never quite imagined I’d have two things about (effectively) dead languages to post, two days in a row, but carpe diem, I guess:

This is not *quite* a complete translation. The fancy “FINAL FANTASY” graphics on the world map and bridge/ship game screens, and the “The End” text at the end of the game remain in English. Those few instances aside, the remainder of the game is entirely in Latin.

Yes, you read that correctly: Final Fantasy. In Latin. This will be great for seminary students, those possessed by demons, and, uh, Jim Caviezel. Again.

More great (?!) news: he also did Zelda and Zelda II.

Poor Jim. He probably should go to bed and wake up when he’ll feel the world will be more appreciative of him… like after the AntiChrist shows up.
