PSA: PSPgo $169.99

don't do it!

Yes, that’s a very good price for the least well thought-out piece of hardware1 since the Virtual Boy (and at least the Virtual Boy had Mario Clash…and a cartridge slot), but hey, it won’t get much cheaper than this until Sony pulls the plug altogether, so grab it before Dell realizes they made a pricing error.2

1 Oh, it’s a piece of something alright…
2 The only people who should even be considering this–and, even then, I’d be very hesitant–are those that do not already have a PSP and games they still play on it since you cannot transfer them over to the ‘go.

Damn, make sure Josh hears about this. He’s in the market for one.

If sony at least had every game that has come out to NA in the psn this thing would make a bit of sense to exist at all. But turns out there are several games not available for download: from Square Enix stuff (Final Fantasy tactics: The War of the lions: Star ocean 1 and 2) to stuff like Metal Slug XX, Jeanne D’arc among others. So, switching to the pspgo is just forcing the buyer to not be able to play many games.
